FreeWave’s latest radio technology is called ZumLink. It is an ethernet and a serial radio. One of the really key features is its ability to include new Industrial Internet of Things protocols. So you can set up ZumLink radio with Linux-based software that will run and allow you to make decisions right on the radio.
Rather than having to just transmit that data to another computer, which would be called an edge computer, this radio will be your computing processing device. If you have legacy FreeWave radio, such as the FGR2 or FGR3 radios, you can combine that together with the ZumLink radio network, so you do not have to go out and replace all of your legacy radios at the same time. They can coexist.
If you come in and talk to us, we’ll help you put all of the components together, so that you have a single network of legacy together with the new ZumLink network.
